NCHH compiled each state health department’s policies related to interventions for children with elevated blood lead levels. The resource below outlines the most current information available (through June 2023), which was collected from various online sources; informational links are included in the document. No health department staff were interviewed for this project. Note that many local health department policies differ from those of their respective states.
