Read G. Holman has a public health background with experiences intersecting public policy, innovation management, and program development. In his role as a Director of Network Development for Unite Us, a company focused on the social determinants of health, Read works with health systems, governments, CBOs, and policy makers to build sustainable “upstream” community care networks on the West Coast. In addition to a couple years spent as an independent consultant, Read has eight years of experience in the federal government, including time serving the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, the HHS Office of the Chief Technology Officer, and the White House. Read grew up in northeast Texas but now lives in Oakland, California. In his non-work time, he’s a court-appointed advocate for foster youth in Alameda County and enjoys wilderness backpacking and most things sport. He holds a B.S. in biology from Trinity University and an M.P.H. in policy and management from Boston University.
