Aaron Haier is an attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, specializing in complex commercial and civil litigation. Mr. Haier represents clients in a wide variety of civil matters, including antitrust class actions, bankruptcy litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement proceedings. He has represented leading companies in the fields of finance, technology, and sports and entertainment.
Mr. Haier also maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on housing law, gun violence prevention, and voting rights. In addition to his private practice experience, Mr. Haier has clerked for the Hon. Kevin McNulty in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Previously, Mr. Haier worked for the City of Newark, New Jersey’s Department of Health and Community Wellness, where he oversaw the Newark Healthy Homes Program. In this role, he advanced the City of Newark’s work toward creating safe and healthy housing for all Newark residents through strategies for policy development, legal enforcement, community advocacy, physical housing interventions, and program sustainability.
Mr. Haier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English from New York University, a Master of Arts degree in Economics from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
