Jill Wohl is a seasoned development and communications professional with more than 15 years experience in public policy, social services, and nongovernmental organizations focused on health, housing, education, and economic opportunity. Jill’s role is to build epic partnerships between philanthropy and a national network of over 100 strong, independent members—affordable housing nonprofits, community development organizations, and public housing agencies—that use their collective platform to launch and scale social innovations that expand affordable housing, close the racial wealth gap, and advance thriving communities and equal opportunity for all.
Prior to joining Housing Partnership Network in 2019, Ms. Wohl held roles directing development at Community Catalyst, a national health policy nonprofit, as well as at Legal Council for Health Justice, where she helped merge three medical-legal partnership programs from another Illinois nonprofit, rebrand, and grow revenue and reach threefold. She also helped create and disseminate an award-winning tool, “Visualizing Health Care Reform,” which helped galvanize statewide support for rollout of the Affordable Care Act in Illinois. She is also a founding board member of Raise Your Hand, an uncommonly effective grassroots organization advocating for educational equity in Illinois. Ms. Wohl holds a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
