Project Description
The Maine State Housing Authority, the National Center for Healthy Housing, and ERT Associates (now Tohn Environmental Strategies) explored asthma rates among occupants in housing units served by Maine’s weatherization program and which had moisture and mold problems. The goal of this effort was to understand better the moisture and mold hazards and asthma rates in households where weatherization work occurs in order to address housing-based asthma triggers.
