Green Housing Case Studies
With funding from the Home Depot Foundation, NCHH partnered with Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. (Enterprise), NeighborWorks America®, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to produce a suite of four case studies in 2009 to provide practical information that local housing organizations can use to cost-effectively integrate healthy homes upgrades into their existing programs. These case studies provide engineers, project managers, architects, and other affordable housing professionals with information on the latest innovations in green building techniques used to tackle some of the toughest healthy homes issues.
A fifth case study, Creating a Community Landmark, was published in 2014, following the completion of NCHH’s Green Rehabilitation of Elder Apartment Treatments (GREAT) project, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
