Stories from the Field Case Studies: Health in All Policies

Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Center for Healthy Housing,  the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), worked jointly with city health departments in Houston (Texas), Louisville (Kentucky), and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) to implement a Health in All Policies strategy into their respective lead prevention implementation programs and activities. The health departments were chosen through a rigorous application process and received six months of technical assistance from the partnering organizations, as well as a $20,000 award.
