The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Asthma Program has been receiving technical assistance from NCHH and other partner experts to build internal program capacity and:
• Collectively develop strategies for the Wisconsin Asthma Program to partner with Wisconsin Medicaid
• Provide national research highlighting the benefits of reimbursing for in-home asthma education and environmental home assessments, for utilization in discussion with state Medicaid
• Discuss state-based healthy housing organizations who could be approached for additional partnerships
